Hey, my name is Jill. I'm a wife, a mom and a photographer. I grew up in a small Lake
Michigan town where I played the drums, golfed and worked at the local
movie theater. I moved away right after high school to study business
and marketing. I didn't know what kind of business i'd have but I
wanted one!
I met my husband a few years later, moved to this crazy
little place called Lansing where I was a groupie for my hubby's band for several years. We're huge supporters of the local band
scene and love anything ROCK.
Eventually, I realized that I could take my painting and drawing background and convert it into photography which i'd never done before. I took a few years and went to photography school and am crazy amazed at how incredible my business has taken off!
We now have an adorable 2 1/2 year old who
loves coloring, watching Disney movies and going to the park. I stay at
home with her and run this amazing photog business. We're expecting baby girl #2 in November and could not be more happy! I imagine them having tea parties as little girls and growing up being best friends and going on road trips together.
I love sushi and bad reality shows. I love going up north and playing board games. I love good beer (when i'm not pregnant!) and watching live bands. I adore my church community and of course I absolutely LOVE weddings.
I'm just an easy going gal
living a great life with the help of a loving family and incredible
friends and clients.

Life has been crazy lately to say the least. I’m SO thankful that I have patience of steel and I’ve always worked like a horse!
We have been trying to sell our house for several years. Most of the time “For Sale By Owner” just doing the casual thing thinking we might get a bite. When we knew we wanted another baby we kicked things into high gear and went with a realtor. We’ve had him since October 2009. We’ve had several house showings and open houses with no success. However, on July 9th we had our last house showing…for good! We were made an offer on July 11th and accepted! Since then we have been thrown into high gear with touch ups on the house, packing, inspections and appraisals. We will be closing on our house next week and starting a new build the day after. Throw in there living with the in laws for 3 months, my busiest part of wedding season and a new baby on the way in November and WOW that’s a lot of stuff at once!!!
I still have been working very hard on everyone’s pictures and albums. They will still be done in the time allotted.

All pieces are solid maple. The surfaces are formica which prevents scratches.
The table is oval and has 2 extension pieces and comes with 6 chairs.
One of the chairs is cracked but could be easily fixed.
The hutch has 2 pieces and a glass front.
This is a great set that has been taken very good care of.

We’ve done the 3 and already the 6 month pictures. How does time go by so fast!
For having severe acid reflux this little cutie sure is happy!
It’s been so long since i’ve posted a kid shoot or any other shoot besides a wedding I guess it’s about time! I have TONS more to show that hopefully I can get up by the end of summer!
